Hiking & Beekeeping Experience in Kastelli

An authentic family-friendly hiking experience in Kastelli, near Agios Nikolaos, designed for all ages. This easy 5 km walking route follows gentle trails beneath the village’s archaeological site, combining nature, learning and local tradition.
During the walk, we meet our local beekeeper Andreas, put on protective beekeeping suits and walk together towards his hives. There, we open a beehive, observe the honeycomb up close and discover the secrets of bees, honey production and the fascinating balance of this natural kingdom.
The experience concludes at a traditional local café in Kastelli, where guests enjoy a complimentary local treat by NatureSoul Adventures, offering a relaxed and authentic taste of Cretan rural life, just minutes from Agios Nikolaos, Crete.
