Hiking Ancient Olive Tree & Azorias Settlement

A unique hiking experience in Lasithi that blends nature with the ancient history of Crete. The route begins at the iconic Ancient Olive Tree of Kavousi, one of the oldest olive trees in the world and a living symbol of Crete’s long-standing olive-growing tradition.
The hike continues through the quiet and authentic Messonas Gorge, before ascending towards the important archaeological site of Azorias, one of the best-preserved Archaic settlements in Crete.
