Discover the countryside around Agios Nikolaos with NatureSoul Adventures on The Grand Loop. This guided e-bike tour connects five Cretan villages, hillside scenery and the coast, with time to explore on foot and pause along the way.

From Agios Nikolaos to Kritsa

We meet at the lake of Agios Nikolaos and begin with a ride through town. Leaving the centre behind, we pass through Mardati and climb towards Kritsa with the assistance of our electric bikes.

Here, we leave the bikes for a 20-minute walk through the village’s narrow lanes, taking a closer look at its traditional character and everyday Cretan life.

Through Kroustas to Prina

Back on our bikes, we continue uphill to Kroustas. We explore the lanes of this traditional village before beginning our descent towards Prina.

At Prina’s village spring, we take a break to enjoy our premium snack pack and the peaceful surroundings before continuing our journey.

A Coastal Return to Agios Nikolaos

Our route takes us through Kalo Chorio before returning towards Agios Nikolaos along the coast. The changing scenery brings a different perspective to the final part of the ride, completing our circular journey back in town.

With approximately three hours of cycling and four hours in total, The Grand Loop brings together village life, countryside and coastal views in one varied experience.
