Near Exo Mouliana in Eastern Crete, Richtis Gorge reveals a landscape of towering plane trees, flowing streams and moss-covered rocks. Join NatureSoul Adventures for a guided 6 km hike through lush woodland, with time to relax beside Richtis Waterfall.
A Woodland Trail to the Waterfall
Follow the stream, cross wooden bridges and make your way over natural rocky sections. Along the way, your local guide shares stories about the landscape and Cretan life.
At the waterfall, we take a 30-minute break to enjoy our snack, take photographs and soak up the surroundings. A refreshing dip in the natural pool may be possible, depending on conditions and your guide’s assessment.
After the break, we follow the trail back through the gorge. The full experience lasts approximately 3 hours, including the waterfall stop.
Participants should be comfortable walking on uneven ground and occasionally slippery rocks. No technical canyoning equipment is required.
