About Kostis Fragiadakis

Hi! My name is Kostis Fragkiadakis.

      I was born and raised here, in Crete – this beautiful and wild island, full of mountains, gorges, and sea. I have been connected with hiking and nature since childhood, for more than 25 years now.

      What fascinates me most is the direct contact with the earth, the aromatic herbs of Crete, the animals, as well as the rich history, legends, and myths of this land. For many years, I preferred to explore on my own, often away from the marked hiking trails. The countless hours I have spent in the Cretan outdoors taught me to always be prepared and carry the right equipment for my safety.

      Alongside my childhood friend, I also discovered the gorges of Crete – those hidden natural treasures that make hiking in Crete a truly authentic experience. This passion stays with me to this day; only now, I make sure to carry everything needed to guarantee the safety of the whole group.

      Among all the hikes, one of my favorites is the Richtis Gorge hike. The combination of wild nature, lush landscapes, and the impressive waterfall at the end makes it an unforgettable adventure every single time. For me, Richtis is not just a hike – it is a living lesson about the power and harmony of Cretan nature.

      I chose to join NatureSoul Adventures because it fully reflects my values. Respect for nature, connection with local culture, and the pursuit of inner balance are exactly what I want to share with people who seek authentic outdoor adventures in Crete.
