The route begins in Krasi village, and after 3 km we are in the very old oak forest. A green and shaded natural area offering a cool and peaceful setting, and follows an easy trail through nature, away from traffic and noise. The hike ends in the traditional village of Krasi, home to the famous ancient plane tree, one of the most impressive natural landmarks in Crete. Time is allowed to relax and explore the village, completing the experience in an authentic and unhurried way. With a total distance of 10 km, this hike is ideal for hikers that they are looking to enjoy nature and traditional Cretan villages, just a short drive from Agios Nikolaos, Crete.
